IN A NUTSHELL: Anthony is a mostly normal fourteen year old, who has lived in Woodfall all his life, with slightly weird parents. His social life is still awkward, because he just entered the Winton school system this year.
YEARS GO BY: Anthony is fourteen years old. He is a sophomore in high school. The school ordinarily would have pushed him ahead a few grades because he has learned most of the material covered in the high school, but mercifully held him back to only one past his normal year for his social life.
ON THE INSIDE: Drake(that looks and behaves remarkably like a barn owl)
LOOK IN THE MIRROR: Anthony’s looks are relatively normal. He has light brown hair and a darker brown eye. He is five feet and nine inches tall. He is athletic and can frequently be seen running, even not during the track season. His appearance would be totally normal in human form if he did not have obviously mismatched eyes, one is brown and the other is a deep blue. He has a set of teeth marks on his foot, and claw marks to go with it on his ankle. This scarring, which is visible in human and owl forms, marks where a black feline decided that he looked like a good snack a few years ago. It is the closest panther encounter ever reported in Woodfall, with the victim alive. Other than that, in owl/drake form he is totally typical of his owl species, with the white face, golden back, and deep black eyes of a barn owl.
TRUE TO YOURSELF: Anthony, or Ant, as he prefers to be called, is awkward in his social life. He says the wrong things at the wrong times, and the concept of fashion is totally foreign to him. Despite this, he makes a good friend. He is quite trustworthy, and very honest. He attends a lot of sports events and other things outside of school, in the hopes of making friends. He is artistic, and would spend more of his time creating artwork, but his parents enforce his schoolwork upon him strictly. He manages to maintain a positive attitude most of the time, though he finds it difficult occasionally.
REWIND: Ant’s parents both moved to Winton when they were young, and are werewolves. They expected Ant to be a werewolf too, and were kind of surprised that Ant has not become a werewolf. Ant has carefully kept his drake shifting from his parents. Ant was born in Winton, and raised on a strict diet of the most nutritious food possible, forced to exercise on treadmill for two hours per day, and constantly being taught by his parents, so that he would, as his mom says, ‘develop his full potential’. Now that he is out of the house most of the day, they have moved on to a new project, trying to create a Winton college that will in addition to the ordinary college classes, have courses in disguising animal shifts. Ant is ecstatic to be living in the real world now, and revels in the different, non-educating experiences that can be found every day.
