FIRST NAME:Crow LAST NAME: Diehl
IN A NUTSHELL: Crow is a dour, apathetic freshman too busy trying to untangle the complicated net of his past to bother making friends, play a sport, or succeed at school.
YEARS GO BY: 13, Freshman
LOOK IN THE MIRROR: Crow's curly hair is black, and his bangs always fall in front of his perpetually frowning face, to his annoyance. His eyes, when visible, are dark brown, almost black, and his skin is pale, the freckles standing out like dirt smudges on his anxious face. His ears stick awkwardly out to the sides. He wears vintage tees and black jeans--students in the hall, if they talk about him at all, murmur that he looks rather emo. Crow, however, is not emo; he's simply too preoccupied to get any other outfits.
As a drake, he's a black wyvern the size of a husky, with large, batlike ears spotted with gold splotches. He can walk on his wing-claws.
TRUE TO YOURSELF: Crow is rather introverted. He never bothers to befriend his classmates, and they don't reach out to him. In school, he's in the lowest classes due to the fact that he's too preoccupied with his mission to find out his past to do any work at all. He views school (and life in general) as a waste of time.
SPECIES: Drake
REWIND:Crow's past is what led to his introverted, antisocial personality. He was adopted at a young age, and never knew his birth-parents. His adoptive mother, a single woman by the name of Susannah Diehl (Crow's birth name is not Diehl, but Ghostlair) who abhors drakes. And that's not the worst of his problems. Due to a long-running feud with a family Crow only knows by his last name, he's being hunted by a pack of werewolves--wanted, dead or alive. And even that's not the end of it; Due to Susannah's hating of drakes, he's been drugged with a shot supposed to 'repel the infection' as Susannah calls it, though shapeshifting's not passed by infection, but from parent to child. The shot, intended to be used by normal humans, has a devastating effect on drakes; they decay even without dying.
